The Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Management is a 5 semester program that is delivered in an online format. It is designed for individuals who wish to become effective and influential leaders within the healthcare industry.
The first part of the program builds a strong knowledge base within areas of business administration including marketing, project management, finance, accounting, and human resource management. The second part focuses on business administration within healthcare settings and explores topics such as health policy analysis, health ethics and law, health management, and health informatics.
The program is completed through independent study. Students can work through courses at their own pace, under the guidance of faculty and with the support of peers.
Graduates will be prepared to pursue a career as a hospital administrator, health information manager, health policy analyst, physician liaison, revenue analyst, pharmaceutical project manager, and more.
To be considered for admission to the program, the applicant must fulfill the following requirements:
Four-year Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8
If an applicant does not meet the GPA requirement for the program but has relevant experience in the subject area and satisfies each of the other requirements, they will be considered for admission. An interview or prior learning assessment may be requested as part of the admissions process.

The Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Management covers a broad range of subject areas within business and healthcare administration. The program can be completed in 5 semesters, or 15 months, however students have the flexibility to complete coursework at their own pace.
