The Master of Health Sciences in Aesthetic Medicine is a 2 semester program that is delivered in a hybrid format. It is designed for medical graduates and physicians who wish to gain current knowledge and skills within the field of aesthetic medicine.
In the first part of the program, students will be introduced to the science of medical skincare and facial anatomy as it applies to medical aesthetics. They will learn the proper procedures for administering aesthetic treatments including Botox, dermal fillers, lip fillers, microneedling, and platelet-rich plasma (PRP). The program culminates in a clinical practicum, where students are given the opportunity to acquire hands-on experience in administering aesthetic treatments in a clinical setting.
The program is completed through a combination of independent study and experiential learning. Students can work through online courses at their own pace, under the guidance of faculty and with the support of peers.
Graduates will be prepared to pursue a career as an aesthetic physician, clinical instructor, medical aesthetics consultant, medical science liaison, and more.
To be considered for admission to the program, the applicant must fulfill the following requirements:
Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited institution
Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8
If an applicant does not meet the GPA requirement for the program but has relevant experience in the subject area and satisfies each of the other requirements, they will be considered for admission. An interview or prior learning assessment may be requested as part of the admissions process.

The Master of Health Sciences in Aesthetic Medicine covers a broad range of topics within aesthetic medicine. The program can be completed in 2 semesters, or 6 months, however students have the flexibility to complete coursework at their own pace.
